What causes the headache in the back of your head? Well, the most common cause is muscles. Plain, old, everyday muscles!
And that’s good news because it means you can get rid of your muscle tension headaches.
Poor posture causes muscle strain. It stretches muscles at the back of your head. They attach to your skull and, when they’re strained, those muscles PULL on your head. They get tight because they don’t like being stretched and they cause pain in the back of your head by pulling where they attach.
Which muscles? Those in your upper back and also the front and back of your neck and head, the front of your body and even the arches of your feet.
Why your feet?
Because if your arches are flat you aren’t getting support at the ground level. That makes it really, really hard to have correct posture. And poor posture causes muscles strain that causes the headache in the back of your head.
Bodies are logical. You have pain for a reason. Or two. Or three.
